Children are allocated to each group at the discretion of Chelsea Kindergarten. Factors taken into account in allocating children include; development needs of children, working parents, gender ratios and age, past siblings in the same colour group, etc. If parents have particular work commitments or care arrangements which deem it necessary for their child to attend a particular group every endeavor will be made to accommodate these requests, however places in particular groups cannot be guaranteed as the kindergarten has a large enrolment list.
